We thrive on challenges. Our goal is not only to create a functional covered space for dining, relaxation, or recreation, but to design a solution that incorporates minimal post placement, maximizes views, ensures a tight seal against rain, and guarantees the structural integrity of your cover.
For this particular home, the homeowner requested coverage for the entire back deck. We began by carefully mapping out the fewest posts required for the cover and strategically positioning them in the least intrusive locations. Each beam was placed with precision to both enhance the strength of the structure and maintain the aesthetic harmony of the home and existing deck. Notably, we avoided placing a large 18-20 foot post near the stairs, ensuring that the view remained unobstructed and the cover seamlessly blended with the design.
To finish, we ensured the cover was completely watertight. The gap between the brick wall under the eaves and our cover was filled by custom-cutting our aluminum material into a plate that was fastened to the brick, effectively diverting any water that might collect into our gutter system.
When designing a cover that will be a focal point of your home, our objective is to ensure you are completely satisfied with the final result. We don’t just build a structure—we create a work of art, complementing the beauty of your home.
