Positioned close to the Wasatch Mountains in Draper, our homeowner wanted their cover to maintain a higher amount of snow load. Instead of adding third post, obstructing the beautiful view of your very own backyard, we engeneired the cover to span between two posts 24 feet, and a 16 foot projection off of the house. To ensure the strength of the cover, we used more robust 4×8, beams instead of our usual 2×8 beams. Providing a more sturdy frame to hang the over 70 individual blades that move all in unison.
The middle partician has been used, not only for support and drainage, but to house electrical wire for added fans and lights. The top perimeter traced by An additional 4×4 providing additional trim work adding to the level of attention and detail we bring to our work.
All finished with two electronic drop screens completly closing you in with the push of a button when the western sun beats down on the outdoor dinner table during those summer barbecues. All finished with a premium black powder coat paint, creating a modern look and feel.
