We recognize that not all back decks are perfectly straight or square. Many homes feature dormer windows or other architectural nuances, and these variations are never a concern for us. Whether it’s a shallow or sharp angle, we can accommodate it seamlessly. In this case, the home had a standard 45-degree angle midway down the deck. By custom trimming each louver blade, we ensured a perfect fit, allowing them to operate in unison while maintaining a tightly sealed roof to protect against rain. The homeowner’s decision to leave the handrail intact provided us with the opportunity to securely mount the structure directly to the side of the deck.
Although this backyard was relatively small, with more width than depth, the installation of this cover significantly enhanced the functionality of the space. It allowed the area to be comfortably enjoyed regardless of weather conditions—whether it’s rain or intense heat—making the space far more versatile and enjoyable, no matter the size.
